Failure to disperse
Police responded to a gas station on the 500 block of Montana Street Tuesday morning in response to a report of a woman panhandling in front of the store who was refusing to leave.
An officer arrived and asked her to leave, and the woman complied. However, an hour later the woman returned, causing another officer to respond to the scene.
This time, police said, the woman refused to leave the gas station, and she was placed under arrest.
Ivy Bloodworth-Hubbs, 60, of Butte was taken to the Butte detention center, where she was cited with a misdemeanor for failing to disperse.
Assault with a weapon
Police say one man struck another man with a rake Tuesday afternoon, resulting in an assault with a weapon charge.
Officers were called to the yard of a home on the 2000 block of Gaylord Street, after the man, Dillon Steuer, 21, of Butte became upset and allegedly threw a rake at another man, striking him in the leg. Steuer is also alleged to have punched the man in the face, police said.
Steuer was arrested at the scene. He has since been cited with assault with a weapon, a felony.
