Facing felony robbery charge

Police arrested Dyeena Rebish, 47, of Butte, at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Grand Avenue on a charge of felony robbery. When police arrested Rebish, they also arrested Heather Mihailovich, 30, of Butte, on a misdemeanor charge of criminal contempt.

According to police, Rebish attempted to steal $132 in merchandise in a shopping cart from Kmart, 3300 Harrison Ave., at about 7 p.m. Monday. When a clerk tried to stop Rebish, Rebish allegedly rammed the clerk with the shopping cart, then threatened the clerk with pepper spray. Kmart employees retrieved the cart with the goods because Rebish left it in the parking lot, police said.

Police reviewed surveillance footage and identified Rebish. Officers then located Rebish and Mihailovich in Rebish’s vehicle Tuesday afternoon on Grand Avenue. When police identified Mihailovich, they found that she had a Montana Highway Patrol warrant out for her arrest.

Police increased the severity of the charge against Rebish because she threatened the clerk with pepper spray, police said.
