Police say they arrested Nichole Jensen, 29, of Butte early Tuesday morning after the 29-year-old was allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Police said officers were patrolling around 2:15 a.m. in the area of Park and Montana Streets when they allegedly spotted Jensen run a red light in a vehicle with no tail lights or headlights on.
Officers pulled over the 29 year old, who allegedly failed a field sobriety test. She was taken to Butte county jail, where police say she blew over twice the legal limit on a breath test.
Jensen has been cited with an aggravated DUI, along with a misdemeanor for failing to stop at a stoplight.
Police say they were performing a routine patrol of a casino-gas station on the 500 block of Montana Street when they spotted Zakkery Mulcahy, 25, of Butte whom officers knew to have three criminal contempt warrants out for his arrest.
Officers apprehended the 25-year-old, police said, whereupon they discovered a small amount of crystal substance, believed to be methamphetamine, in his possession.
In addition to the three citations for criminal contempt, Mulcahy has also been cited with felony possession of dangerous drugs.
