A box truck slid and rolled on the ice on Interstate 15 Wednesday morning, causing the driver to receive scratches and possible broken ribs, a trooper with Montana Highway Patrol said.
Trooper Jade Shope said the accident occurred around 5 a.m. about 27 miles north of Dillon when the southbound driver lost control of the truck on icy road conditions.
Shope said the box truck, which is about the size of a delivery truck, rolled once and landed on its wheels. The driver was transported by ambulance to St. James Healthcare in Butte.
Shope said speed was not a factor, and drugs and alcohol were not involved. The driver was wearing a seat belt, Shope said.
