Copper Canyon

Silver Bow Creek meanders through the slag canyon on south Montana Street in this undated file photograph. The slag came from the Butte Reduction Works that once occupied the site. At an upcoming meeting a volunteer group of scientists will provide new information which suggests heavy metals are showing up in Silver Bow Creek more than EPA thought.
